The Wise Farmer Story for Kids

Farmer Peter won the gold medal for growing the best corn in the village. He became famous when the newspapers wrote about him.

One day, a reporter was amazed to find Peter distributing his seeds to other farmers in the village. “If you distribute your seeds, how will you win the competition for growing the best corn next year?” the reporter asked.

The Wise Farmer

“Sir,” replied Peter, “the wind picks up pollen from crops and flowers and spreads it everywhere. So if my neighbors do not grow good corps, my field will suffer too. If i need to grow good corn, i must help my neighbors too.”

The reporter realized how wise the farmer was.

To be happy one must make others happy too.
