The Smart Boy and the Vendor Story

There was a smart vendor living in a village. He used to sell fruits and act smart with the people around. Once, a small boy came to vendor’s shop and asked a kilogram of berries. The vendor gave him berries less in weight.

The boy noticed the weight was less and asked the vendor, “Why are you giving me less berries?” The vendor replied, “Lesser the berries, it will be easier for you to carry home. Now, give me the money”.

The boy dropped some coins into the vendor’s hand and walked off. The vendor counted and found the money to be less.

The vendor shouted, “Hey boy, you’ve given me less money”. The boy replied, “Lesser the money, easier to count, isn’t it?”

Moral: Smart people can be outsmarted.
