The Gingerbread Man Story for Kids

Once upon a time, in a cozy little kitchen, an old woman decided to bake some gingerbread cookies. She mixed flour, sugar, butter, and spices, and then shaped the dough into the form of a little man. She popped him into the oven to bake.

As the delicious aroma filled the kitchen, something magical happened. The gingerbread man began to rise and soon, he popped out of the oven! With a mischievous smile, he dashed out of the kitchen, shouting, “Run, run, as fast as you can! You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!”

The old woman was surprised to see her creation come to life and quickly chased after him. But the gingerbread man was too fast. He raced through the house, out the door, and into the countryside.
