Some Wolves wanted to attack a flock of Sheep, but they were afraid of the Dogs that guarded them. So they came up with a scheme to fool the Sheep.
They said to the Sheep, “Why do you always have to be enemies with us? We could be great friends if it weren’t for those Dogs who always cause trouble. Why don’t you send them away and see how nice we can be to each other?”
The Sheep were naive and believed the Wolves. They told the Dogs to leave them alone, and that night the Wolves had a feast with the Sheep as their main course.
Moral: Don’t trade your friends for your enemies.
