Little Red and the Big Wolf

One day, Little Red Riding Hood was on her way to visit her sick grandmother who lived deep in the woods. As she skipped along, little did she know that a big, bad wolf was watching her.

“Hello there,” said the wolf to Little Red Riding Hood. “Where are you going with that lovely basket?” “My grandmother is ill and i am taking her some cookies,” the little girl said. Why don’t you pick her some flowers too?” suggested the wolf. He knew that would buy him some time.

By that time Little Red Riding Hood got to the house, the grandmother was in bed looking rather strange. “My, Granny, what big eyes you have,” said Little Red Riding Hood. “All the better to see you with, my dear,” said the granny. “And what big hands you have,” said the little girl. “All the better to hug you with,” said the granny. “And, Granny, what big teeth you have!” “All the better to eat you with!” And the wolf sprang from the bed.

Just as the wolf lunged at Little Red Riding Hood, the grandmother, who was locked in the closet, broke free and chased the wolf away. The wolf never bothered them again and they lived happily ever after.
